Did anyone else receive a message from LinkedIn yesterday stating they detected an automation tool on their account? I’m trying to identify the tool, I don’t think it’s LGM, but wanted to see if others received it.
Thanks,
Brent

Yes, I received it, and @Brice helped me tackle that, you need to make sure that you are not using these Extension in your browser:
You need to make sure that your linkedin activites are not too much.

Hey guys
The first thing to consider when you get a restriction is “how did they found me”.
LinkedIn has gotten really smart at detecting extensions - they can actually “see” which ones you have installed! Check out this article for the details: How LinkedIn Knows Which Chrome Extensions You Have Installed
Open your Chrome Extensions List, then compare it with this list of known extensions that linkedin are looking for: If you see some of your extensions in the list, i strongly recommend you to disactivate them.
Note: the google sheet linked above might not be up to date, so use your judgment here: try disabling any LinkedIn-related extensions for now, and that should help resolve the issue.
did you change the number of actions per day in your identity settings ? if your account is “old” enough (more than 6 months, have regular interactions with others…) and you didn’t go in the red zone, you shouldn be fine.
Note: Consider that if you automate with multiple tools, you should sum both activities !
Last, but not the least, when sending you a message that says you’ve be detected, you can click the “Agree to Comply” in the screen to get back your profile:
It’ll take 48h approx. and you’ll get your account back; But please, disactivate the linkedin extension before !
Hope this helps !!
Thanks for this. I appreciate your efforts in keeping LGM legit with LinkedIn. Sorry for my asshole president. I wish you and all Europeans well.
Thanks again @Brice for sharing this,
I was testing Kondo (seemed good)… no more
