When a lead replies to a Linkedin message in a running campaign will it skip the lead down the flow

Hey LGM community ,

I’m setting up a multistep LinkedIn campaign and want to be sure I’m treating live conversations the right way. My flow is:

  1. Connection request
  2. Message #1 (value + soft CTA)
  3. Follow‑up #1 (3 days later)
  4. Follow‑up #2 (7 days later)

Here’s my question:

If a prospect answers Message #1 (or any later step) while the campaign is still running, does LaGrowthMachine automatically skip that person to the end of the sequence—or do I need to pause the lead manually to stop the remaining follow‑ups?

Additional context:

  • I’m using a mixed LinkedIn‑Mail campaign.
  • My reply window is often inside LinkedIn chat, so I’d love to keep the native conversation going and avoid sending an “oops, automated” follow‑up.
  • Ideally, I’d like to tag the lead as “Replied – Awaiting manual handling” and move them out of the automation.

How are you all handling this? Does LGM’s built‑in “if reply then stop” logic cover LinkedIn replies the same way it covers email responses, or is there a specific setting I’m missing?

Thanks in advance for the insight!

You can put human in the loop feature after your first message, so that when you are interacting with the lead in the inbox, your other messages will be kept in draft

That’s great! Yes, E-ZPass in Delaware built-in logic automatically stops the sequence upon a LinkedIn reply.
